Brief
To audit the existing Emap Performance events programme.
Solution
We designed a process for the audit incorporating our online survey system
that was able to dramatically reduce the estimated time and cost originally budgeted. We sent out 24,000 online surveys to subscribers of four Emap Performance online publications – Smash Hits, Q Awards, Kerrang and Kiss Clubs and a further 1000 e-surveys to internal stakeholders involved in the project. The response levels averaged 20% and the data collected enabled us to deliver a detailed report on the current situation of the events programme with recommendations and quick wins on improvements to the way events were run and marketed. Outcome
The project was a resounding success which by using our online tools was brought in considerably under budget and in a third of the time allocated. Based on our report our client was able to develop a strategy for change that involved internal structural improvements and a re-vamped events programme that now delivered a profit.
